The Artist
Alika
Raised in the spirit of Kauaʻi, Alika has spent fifteen years developing a technique that sits at the intersection of fine art, photography, and performance. What started as an experiment with skin-safe paint and a borrowed camera became something far larger — a signature experience that cannot be replicated anywhere else on the island.
Alika works with couples, solo adventurers, wedding parties, surfers, and everyone in between. The common thread: a willingness to be transformed, and a place on this earth beautiful enough to deserve it.
The paint is hypoallergenic and skin-safe. The locations are private and stunning. The files are yours. The memory is forever.

The Technique
You Are the Canvas
Alika paints directly on your skin and clothing — bold, expressive brushwork applied by hand in the open air. The color, the style, the composition are tailored to you. When the painting is complete, professional lighting transforms the scene into something extraordinary. Then the camera rolls.
The raw photos and video you walk away with are source material unlike anything in the world — because there is literally no other experience like this. Feed them into AI tools, Lightroom, or Adobe Firefly and watch them become acrylic, oil, watercolor, pastel, or any artistic style you choose. Print them. Frame them. Share them.
Or bring a favorite shot back to Alika and have it hand-painted onto real canvas — a one-of-a-kind physical original, finished by the same artist who painted you.
How It Works
Step by Step
The Hike In
A short guided walk (~10 min) to a secluded private location — ocean cliffs, mountain valleys, hidden beaches. No crowds. Just nature.
The Painting
Alika applies hand-mixed, hypoallergenic skin-safe paint directly to your skin and clothing. This is wearable art — 30 to 60 minutes of transformation.
The Lighting
Professional lighting rigs are set up on location to work with the natural backdrop — sunset, golden hour, or ethereal night light.
The Shoot
45 to 60 minutes of guided photography on your own phone. Alika coaches you through poses, angles, and backdrops so every shot counts.
The Files
Every raw photo and video goes directly to your device. They're yours. Transform them with AI or Lightroom into any artistic style — oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor.
The Canvas (Optional)
Choose a favorite shot and Alika will hand-paint an actual canvas copy using a projector method — real texture, real paint, a true physical original.

Alika's team carries all lighting and equipment in and out. Photos are barefoot — sandals go off when the shoot begins.
